Zapato 3 fue una banda de rock venezolana (orientada hacia el post punk), formada a comienzos de la década de 1980 en Caracas.

Reconocida su influencia de grupos como Depeche Mode, U2, The Cure, Rolling Stones y bandas punk como Dead Kennedys, su presencia en el escenario les ganó un importante grupo de fanáticos en todo el país.

Fue la primera banda venezolana en alcanzar los primeros lugares en las carteleras de radio del país con temas estrictamente de rock y sin sonido de influencia latina o pop. Paradójicamente su influencia es mejor entendida en la actualidad y temas como "Pantaletas Negras", "Obstinado", "Amo las estrellas", "Uñas asesinas" y "Vampiro" se mantienen vigentes en las estaciones de radio.

Zapato 3 fue junto con Sentimiento Muerto, las primeras bandas con seguidores constantes (groupies) en Venezuela.
